Julie and James ~ Engagements

Meet James and Julie!
They are getting married this summer in Utah!
They asked if I could do their engagement photos for them and of course, I was happy to oblige.

We got lucky with a warm (almost too warm at times) day and we just beat the rain. If you look closely at the last pic, you can see raindrops.

This couple was so much fun, seriously hilarious, and very much in love. I love working with people that are so full of joy. I wish them the very best!!
Here’s a small sampling of their photos.

This is the pic you can see raindrops in! :)

Roberts Family

The Roberts Family

Back in the fall I shot this couples wedding portraits and I was really excited to get a chance to work with them again this spring for family photos.

We planned to meet at our local bike path on the covered bridge. This turned out to be a great idea, because it started raining just a few minutes before we got there.

Everyone is really easy going and laid back and the kids are always so well behaved. As you will see in the pics, they are also gorgeous. Basically they are a photographers dream.

Jordan's Senior Session

I love all the seasons, I always have. Each season has it’s own perks for me. Spring is always super busy, but so much fun. Every year it seems like May 1st marks the beginning of my photo season and this year has been no exception. So, stay tuned for upcoming sessions!

The session featured here today is a gorgeous senior girl named Jordan! Obviously she is stunning, but she was also great to work with. She was wading creeks and climbing trees without me even asking her to.

I love that I caught her laughing in the bottom photo!

I thought the sepia looked great on the railroad tracks!

Great light!! :)

She is one of those lucky people that looks good even when not smiling!

Loved her dress so much....and of course this bridge!

<3

And a little Tarzan and Jane style pic! I love when someone is willing do something a little out of the box! Turned out pretty cool!

As always, thanks for stopping by!
Comments are welcome!
Have a fantastic day!

Rock the Shot March Photo Challenge: Landscape

The March photo challenge at Rock the Shot (www.rocktheshotforum.com) is Landscape. I created this image at the Falls of Ohio a few years ago of some driftwood that had washed up from the Ohio River. I love the image in black and white. Maybe not a typical “landscape” image, but for the area I was in, this was the landscape and I am really happy with the way it turned out.

As always, good luck to all the entrants and thanks for stopping by! J

Thanks!
