Swing Batter Batter...

Whew, it has been a busy season and I am loving it!!

This year was a record-breaking year for Johnson Branch Photography for ball team photos and I am so appreciative of everyone that asked me to do their teams photos! While team photos often don’t give me a huge amount of creative freedom, I did get to do some cool stuff this year and got to spend some time with some super cute little ball players. Oh and I sponsored a tee-ball team for the first time! How exciting is that?! Go team Johnson Branch Photography! Just rolls right off the tongue doesn’t it?!? ;)

I wanted to share just a few of my favorite photos from this season and one very cool team photo. The team photo is of a 14 and under softball team. This was a team of 18 girls and they wanted their team photo to be a little different. This was the first time I have done anything like this and I was really happy with the result, judging by the response on Facebook, I think the players and parents were too. https://www.facebook.com/JohnsonBranchPhotography

 These little guys were so hot, we put them in the dugout for their pic. :)

Ethan and Family! :)

I was so excited to have the opportunity to do Ethan’s 2-year-old photos. I met this awesome family last year for Ethan’s 1-year-old pics. We went to Caesars Creek Dam in Ohio for the photos and we were really lucky to have great weather. We shot a few family photos while were there and made an attempt at some photos of just the boys, but as you will see in one photo below, that didn’t work overly well. J

You will also see that Ethan is carrying a monster truck. Last year, he had a sucker in each pic and this year we graduated to the truck, I can’t wait to see what item he has in his 3 year old pics! J

 Sad and hilarious at the same time ;)

Josh and Laura * Engaged

Below is a small sampling of images from Josh and Laura’s engagement session. Josh is not overly keen on having his photo taken or having them posted online, so most of the images I shared are more of his back and Laura’s pretty face. I did sneak a few though, because they were just so cute! We had awesome weather the day of this photo shoot and we had a lot of fun, even if Josh doesn’t like being photographed. J

Next time you see them on my page, they will be married!

I am very excited for this wonderful and can't wait till their fall wedding!

Isn't Laura just a classic beauty?

Also on a fun note, my husband and Josh work together, so my husband tagged along for the session. He and I planned to go to dinner after I was done with the pictures. He asked me later if I saw him "photobomb" and I said "no", thinking he was joking. Well later, going through photos, I came across this little gem. I apparently need to pay closer attention. 

 He was in all the pics I took of this pose. He was removed during the final edit. lol :)
