Michelle's Senior Pics

This is Michelle and these are a few of her senior pics. We met on a rainy and dreary day and headed out to a state park where there are some waterfalls about a half-mile hike into the woods. It was totally worth it. The scenery was beautiful in the creek bed and at the falls. She also brought along her little dogs to be in a couple photos. By the time we climbed up the hill out of the creek, it was starting to rain, it just made the fall colors even prettier. J

Anyone remember Splinter from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles? This dog totally looks like him. :)

 Love the falls...

I loved this capture of her laughing at a family friend that came with us.

It was so pretty out there.

Probably my favorite from the shoot. She's such a pretty girl and I love the black and white.

This was the last shot I took on the way back to the trucks. When I edited it out, I could see raindrops on her hair. Love it. :)

Sisters

These two beauties belong to some good friends of my husbands and mine. This was the first time I’ve had an opportunity to take photos of them and we really had perfect weather and fall colors for the session at the lake. I’m told these gals fight like most sisters do, but I was so impressed with their posing. They did a lot of the posing themselves and thought they were just adorable! :)

This is one of my favorite shots I've ever done of sisters. I can't believe these girls are only 10 and 6.

I really wanted to put the girls on the bridge, but it was gated. (Even if I was willing to break a few rules and toss them over the gate, the rail was about eye high on the taller one)

This is an example of their own posing.

As the girls walked off together with their arms around each other, I asked their dad if they were always this sweet to each other. He laughed and said, "no, this is weird" lol :)

Really loved the colors in this!

Johnson's!

This is my big brother, my sister in law, and my three little buddies, Gabbie, Cas, and Sawyer. Sawyer is about 2 weeks old in these pics and they wanted to get some new family photos done. We decided to do the photos at the location where they got married 4 years ago. We actually did the photos one day before their anniversary. It also worked out that the location now has a train caboose on display and my nephew happens to be a little train fanatic. J
Enjoy the pics!

This was the first photo. Pretty good posers for a 4 and 2 year old. :)

Not only did Jeremiah and Erin get married on the property here, but we also did their engagement photos here. He did a few on this bench. :)
I had to throw this pic in. It cracks me up. They were doing so good and at this point, they had pretty much checked out. :)

I will have to go through some old pics and find it, but this is the spot that Jeremiah gave Erin her engagement ring. We decided to recreate with three little people present. :)

 Love this one! :)

This is the spot where they had the ceremony and reception. I told the kids to run around.  I was really happy with this shot. :)

This one was an impromptu shot. We were done and letting the kids play when I saw the opportunity. I thought it was super cute! :)

Baby Sawyer ~ Proud Auntie Right Here!

This little doll baby is my sweet baby niece, Sawyer Elizabeth Grace Johnson born on Oct 1st.
She belongs to my big brother, Jeremiah, and sister in law, Erin. They asked me to be in the delivery room for her birth (I’m admittedly a bit squeamish, so I stood by Erin’s head and took photos) I won’t be sharing those on the blog, but I am sharing Sawyer’s newborn portraits, she is just 4 days old in these photos. Her Mama and I tried pretty much every hat and bow that I have in my newborn cache on her. It was a lot of fun and she was so good about it, here are just a few of my favorites from the session! :)
I am one proud Auntie! <3

This one is probably my favorite! I love the little smile and the bow/wrap combo. :)
This bow is from Sew Whimsey! Here's a link to the Etsy shop: https://www.etsy.com/shop/patriciamueller

I love this little hat! Its so soft. I will have to go through a few things to figure out where it came from.
